This past October, the IBTA held Plugfest 36 at the University of New Hampshire Interoperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL). The products that passed Compliance and Interoperability testing during this plugfest have been published in the latest versions of the InfiniBand Combined Cable and Device Integrators’ List and the RoCE Integrators’ List. These extensive Integrators’ Lists feature detailed testing and product information for end users’ benefit.

Our Plugfests are widely acknowledged as the most demanding and effective compliance and interoperability program in the industry, creating a robust and reliable ecosystem of both InfiniBand and RoCE solutions that end users can depend on. This ecosystem of vendors and testing equipment featured at each Plugfest continues to show the IBTA’s commitment to this rigorous, third-party testing and bringing a broad range of industry players together to test, perform real-time debugging, and confirm that each component will work together in real world situations. Thanks to the testing that is conducted during our Plugfests, end users can deploy InfiniBand and RoCE products with confidence in the reliability and endurance of their systems.

The validation provided by the IBTA Compliance and Interoperability program is critical to the advancement of RDMA technology and the industry as a whole. End users across the industry leverage the results from our Plugfests which are published in the Integrators’ Lists when determining which products to use when designing or upgrading their systems. These costly business decisions are made easier by the confidence end users have in the interoperability and compliance of these InfiniBand and RoCE products.

The IBTA would like to thank Plugfest 36 test equipment contributions from vendors Anritsu, Keysight Technologies, Software Forge and Wilder Technologies.

Members that participated in Plugfest 36 include BizLink, Connpro Industries, Marvell, Mellanox Technologies, NetApp and Volex.

We also invite you to join us at Plugfest 37, to be held April 27 – May 08, 2020. In order to address travel restrictions around the evolving COVID-19 situation, this event will take place for the first time at the Software Forge lab in Portsmouth, NH. Deadlines, other important dates, and further information can be found on the Plugfest page.
